Dave and I climbed at the same gym; Dave was an experienced climber while I was just getting into the sport. We saw each other around for about a year but we didn’t actually speak to each other until early 2006 when we were randomly at the same after-work lounge. We instantly recognized each other from the climbing gym and shortly thereafter Dave approached and introduced himself.
